Programmable Logic Controllers 18

Our PLC18 course is an advanced training programme designed to provide learners with the knowledge and practical skills required to program, operate, and fault-find Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

This course covers everything that our PLC10 course does and the extra 8 days covers the City & Guilds 2382-22 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and City & Guilds 2391-52 Initial & Periodic Inspection & Testing.

The course leads to a nationally recognised EAL Level 3 qualification, making it highly valuable for career progression in industrial environments.

The typical 18 day course usually covers 2 or 3 of the major manufacturers: Siemens S7, Allen Bradley and Mitsubishi (this can be amended to other manufacturers if you have a particular requirement). The course aims to be 90% practical — every student works on their own dedicated training rig and computer.
